What we collect
FeedWarden reads product and order data from your Shopify store (titles, prices, stock, identifiers, per-variant order revenue) and item data from your Google Merchant Center account (submitted attributes, statuses, datasources). It stores catalog snapshots, incident history, crawl results for your product pages, and the settings you choose, including any alert recipients and Slack, Discord, or webhook URLs you configure.
What we do not collect
No customer personal data. Order data is aggregated to revenue per product variant; names, addresses, and emails of your customers never leave Shopify. No payment data: billing runs through Shopify.
Why we collect it
Every piece of data serves the product's one job: comparing your Shopify catalog against your Merchant Center account and telling you when they disagree. We do not sell data, share it with third parties for marketing, or use it to train anything.
Where it lives and how long
Data is stored in our hosting provider's infrastructure for the life of your installation. Uninstalling the app deletes your store's data. You can also request deletion at any time and we comply with Shopify's mandatory data deletion webhooks.
Google API data
FeedWarden's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google access is read-only and revocable at any time from your Google account settings or from the app's own settings page.
